Authorities in a Vietnamese tourist town are set to close down several roadside hairdressing shops for soliciting clients too aggressively.
Twenty two barbers in the Hoi An old leather shoes market in the World Heritage town Hoi An would have to close by Wednesday.
The shops, which have existed there for many years, cut and washed hair and nails. They landed in hot water for pestering and quarrelling over clients, especially tourists.
The authorities said they would help the hairdressers set up other businesses like souvenir and garment shops.
